My favorite drink this month is the Gin and Tonic. Did you know that it can cure
malaria?* It was selling like candy to toddlers at my New Year's party. Toddlers who didn't have their money in the market that is.
*ok, it may not actually cure malaria...

my favorite part about this post is that i learned the word 'fluoresce.'
It is also interesting that the rise of gin as a popular drink has to do with the way it was taxed (i.e. less heavily).
